The CA State law requires a Student to complete Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and watch the Asthma video online.

The Pediatric Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Online Course contains information on how to respond to and manage illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. This course provides a one-stop shop for pediatric First Aid, CPR, and AED training needs for child care providers. You will learn:
The Four Steps of First Aid (Prevent, Be Safe, Phone 911, Act)
Illnesses and injuries (topics include but are not limited to)
Allergic Reactions
Asthma
Bleeding and Bandaging
Diabetes and Low Blood Sugar
Drowning
Dehydration
Head, Neck, and Spine Injuries
Seizure
Temperature-Related Issues

After completing the online portion, Students practice and demonstrate their skills with an AHA Instructor and receives a Pediatric First Aid CPR AED card, valid for two (2) years.
